pkgsrc-2025Q2 has been released

The pkgsrc developers are proud to announce the 87th quarterly release
of pkgsrc, the cross-platform packaging system.  pkgsrc contains over
29,000 packages. More information on pkgsrc itself is available at
https://www.pkgsrc.org/.

Since the last release (2025Q1), 132 packages were added, 2593 packages
were updated (1909 distinct ones), and 168 packages were removed.

Notable package additions were:
 - Anubis 1.18
 - EndBASIC 0.11.1
 - several fonts: Iosevka, Gentium, Greybeard, etc.

Notable package updates were:
 - Asterisk 18.26.2, 21.9.1, 22.0.0
 - Chromium 136
 - emacs 30.1
 - ejabberd 25.04
 - Firefox 128.12.0, 138.0.4
 - GIMP 3.0.4
 - Go 1.24.4

 - Ruby 3.3.8, 3.4.4
 - Rust 1.86.0
 - TeXLive 2025

Notable package removals were:
 - Tryton
 - several supporting packages for GIMP 2

As announced in the last branch announcement, support for the following
operating systems has been removed, due to bitrot and lack of use:
 - BSD/OS
 - GNU/kFreeBSD
 - Interix
 - MirBSD

The default JPEG implementation has been changed from libjpeg to
libjpeg-turbo. If you get a message like "libjpeg-turbo conflicts with
libjpeg" during a package update, you need to force-delete libjpeg (with
pkg_delete -f) and rebuild / upgrade all packages depending on it.
